This course will explore the ethical, legal, and clinical aspects of working with clients involved in the court system. Best practices will be discussed for communicating effectively with clients and the court. Practical applications will also be discussed including what therapists can do to try to stay out of court. Practical considerations for clinical supervisors will also be addressed.
