This workshop will explore the prevalence and impact of burnout on therapists and clients and will take a more in-depth look at the process for recovering from burnout and preventing future incidences of burnout. Ethical and supervisory implications for clinical supervisors will be explored as well as the role of clinical supervisors in educating candidates on symptomology and prevention of burnout. Recent research regarding burnout will be covered and explored specifically with the relevant applications to therapists.
