Although there is much overlap between coaching and consulting, there are some significant differences. Consulting typically offers more specific and direct feedback whereas coaching is more process-oriented and client-driven. I provide a hybrid approach. My consulting process incorporates coaching interventions to a large extent to assist in identifying goals and objectives. The goals and objectives are specific to your vision for your practice and brand. However, the feedback I offer is direct and specifically tailored to your goals and objectives, which is more consistent with a consulting role. Bottom line is...Some tactics simply work better than others. When that is the case, I believe it is my role to tell you exactly that (consulting). However, often times it is a matter of choosing the approach that best suits you, your vision, your values, and your personal and business style. When that is the case, I shift into a process-oriented and client-centered approach (coaching) to help you design the practice and brand that best aligns with your values and your vision.
